Let it Snow, Let it Snow

It seems it has been snowing here in our area at least once a week, but this past week was the most we have had so far...over 15 inches! Although in our complex, they come and shovel a path from your door step all the way to your car! Its amazing and John and I REALLY appreciate it after all our shoveling we did for over 6 years at our Prettyman Road house. Here are a few pics from our Winter Wonderland! (and a few off our deck with the Cardinal bird feeder..yes..we have a bird feeder and these pics are for all you Arizona Cardinal fans!)


                            

It's a New Year...Here's to 2011!

In 2010, we had a lot going on for one year, here are some of the highlights...John began working on his own as a River Pilot (technically December of 2009 but close enough), we sold our first home and moved twice, my brother and his family came out to visit us in the summer when we lived in Lewes, John threw me a surprise 29th Birthday Party, we FINALLY went on our long awaited Honeymoon in Florida, we attended two of our good friends weddings in NY and one in Alabama, I threw a fun filled BBQ for John's bday in June, we flew to Phoenix to surprise my mom for her Birthday (as you can tell, I am really into celebrating Birthdays-sometimes for a week long!), John went to San Diego for two weeks for the third time in a row for AT training, and we went to NYC with my Stonybrook friends for Valentines day celebrations!
There were so many more wonderful moments we had with family and friends, but these are just a few! Although, it was tough at times (aka Moving Twice), we are happy with our decisions over the year and are eager to see what 2011 has in store for us! (and yes, that includes another move!)
Since John was off this New Years Eve, we decided to head out and check out the scene around here!

We then ate Thai food on South Street in Philly at Pad Thai, one of John's favorite places. After eating, we headed to Media, PA to grab some drinks at Sligo Irish Pub on main street and headed out at 12 to watch the BALL DROP!
